Things Required For Galas

Costume or Trunks (plus a spare)

Goggles (plus a spare)

2 Towels - 1 for poolside and 1 to dry off at the end

T-Bag or T-shirt to wear on poolside when not swimming to keep you warm

Drinks - Fruit squash or commercial drinks Lucozade sport but not fizzy drinks

If it is a team gala here are some food examples required to help keep energy levels up, for example

  • Banana's
  • Jelly Cubes
  • Small bar of chocolate or cereal bars
  • Popcorn or Snacks Jacks

For all day gala/meets it's carbohydrate foods required the night before e.g.

  • Pasta meal (spaghetti bolognese)
  • Pizza
  • Mashed potatoes with meat or fish, vegetables or beans

On The Day

Breakfast e.g.
C
ereal or Toast

Lunch e.g.
Sandwiches or Pasta (salad)

Snacks and plenty of drinks
