Wirral Aquarius Swimming Club & Swim Scheme were established in 1977. Leasowe Recreation Centre is still the home of Wirral Aquarius Swimming Club, Wirral Aquarius is one of the most successful swimming clubs in Merseyside. We have over 100 members and rising. Our members with swimming abilities ranging from 6 years old beginners to international class swimmers, and even a world record holder! Read more...
Where We Train?
Wirral Aquarius Swimming Club and Swim Scheme train at Leasowe Recreation Centre using their two pools. The training pool which is 12.5 meters long and is used by beginners to gain water confidence as part of the highly regarded swim scheme. The large pool which is our competition pool is 25 meters long and has 6 lanes.
In addition there is a comfortable and large spectation area, easy parking, easy road access and a structured coaching and administration organisation making Wirral Aquarius the successful club it is. Read more...
When We Train?
Wirral Aquarius Swimming Club train 5 times a week. From Wednesday to Sunday. Our sessions are structured to provide the swimmer to learn with their age group and also there capability. To view our training times click here.
